I think maybe a little 4chan-style aggression might be in order here. Our art institutions are failing us. It’s time for people to start using their own access to media - and God knows we all have shitloads of it now - to meme this video, spread it virally, in other words to put this piece by David Wojnarowicz out there by whatever means possible, everywhere we can, so that it can’t be avoided. We don’t need the art institutions to do this (though of course they should be doing it) - we have the power to circumvent them and do it ourselves, so that these forms of expression can’t be contained.
